However, the Rogue has managed to draw its own attention in an already crowded market of crossover vehicles. The Nissan Rogue SUV Crossover does exactly what is expected of any crossover vehicle. It blends the advantages of an SUV like higher seating position with the drivability of a car. Unlike many of the family crossover models, the Rogue actually handles better than most of the compact sedans on the market. It offers a driving experience that is more fun and entertaining than the competition and with a finesse not often found in a crossover. Driving the Rogue is much like driving a fast little sedan and that is part of the appeal it holds.

The Nissan Rogue SUV Crossover is powered by a 2.5 liter 170 hp 4 cylinder engine mated with a standard continuously variable transmission. This allows the power that is felt during driving and gives superior handling even on imperfect roads. Controlling the body of the SUV is easy and it is actually considered quick for a crossover. The Rogue can reach 0 to 60 in only 8.6 seconds. Fuel economy is dependent on whether front wheel or all wheel drive is chosen. The former allows for 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. The later goes down just a bit to 22 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.

The interior of the Nissan Rogue SUV Crossover is one of the most impressive that can be found in this price range. It boasts seats that offer comfort for driver and passengers and user-friendly controls that make operation of the many features a simple task. The entire cabin is designed with high quality materials and it shows in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. There was even ample storage added inside so that no space was entirely wasted. It has a truly upscale feel to it whether looking from the outside or the inside.

The exterior of the Nissan Rogue SUV Crossover is distinctive in its own way, and the style turns heads easily. However, even with a stylish design and superior handling, there are things that may turn buyers away. The CVT is quite noisy and can get annoying after a long period of time driving. The Rogue doesn't offer a V6 option, and though it has a lot of power for a 4 cylinder, much of the competition is offering a V6 option in their crossover choices. The rear seat does not recline or slide and again this is a feature that is often standard among the class. The rear visibility is limited and the cargo space is as well.
