Make no mistake about it; John Cooper Works Hardtop is not your average car that anyone with $29,990 can buy. It is, instead, a very special creation by a man, with enormous fan following and a legacy to keep. Founded by John Cooper, mini has a lot in common with Ferrari and Alfa Romeo although John Cooper was more focused on developing a 'road-friendly' car. All these brands were founded by race car drivers and it was their excitement for speed and a passion for reliability that resulted in some automobile wonders. John Cooper Works Hardtop is manufactured for that extraordinary automobile customer that loves to drive a car with heritage. When John Cooper and his friend Eric Brandon built the Cooper 500 in the late 1940s, even they couldn't have figured out that their name was going to be spread all over the world for the wonderful creation of theirs. Cooper 500 was a huge success and the company never had to turn back.
