ReviewitOnline Ratings are based on a number of factors including reputation, appearance, model age, engine & other comparative aspects.

The 2012 E-Class E550 performs on par with the A6 and Genesis. All cars have an automatic transmission; with the E550 packing a V8 engine and the others V6 engines. All three vehicles received good reviews for interior designs and features. The Hyundai got a higher score for being more spacious than the others. The Mercedes 2012 E-Class E550 showed high reliability scores mark it out as superior to the Audi A6 and Hyundai Genesis in this regard. In terms of safety, both the E550 and Genesis got a perfect score and the A6 doesn't trail too far behind.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E550 gets 16mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. This is not as good as the Audi A6 at 19mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway based on our reviews. The Hyundai Genesis has the best fuel efficiency rating among all three cars with 19mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway. The cost of the three cars is really what distinguishes them. The Hyundai Genesis has the cheapest price tag at $34,200 for the base model. The Audi A6 comes in second with at $49,900 for the standard 4-wheel drive model. The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E550 is the most expensive, costing $59,790. We do feel that this is too high even for a luxury sedan, but we understand that the Mercedes-Benz logo on the E550 makes a big difference to people who are brand conscious. And let's admit, Mercedes-Benz is one of the leading automotive manufacturers in the world, and they do have a huge following.
