The latest model of the Range Rover Evoque SUV has been unveiled, and is expected to be available sometime in 2012.
The 2012 Range Rover Evoque SUV is going to feature a 2L 4 cylinder engine on the car, and the base model is expected to be available for somewhere in the $40,000 to $45,000 bracket. The Range Rover Evoque SUV is not made from the standard body on frame design which is used by a large number of vehicles that are designed for use on off road tracks. On the upside, it features the latest in line unibody construction, which significantly improves handling as well as the quality of the ride.
Fuel economy, as stated by the manufacturer itself states that the car will run 47.1 miles on an imperial gallon. The interior of the car is going to feature the same trend as the rest of the Range Rover brand, with the same luxurious designs that you find on other vehicles from Range Rover. The total weight of the vehicle is going to be around 1,670 KG, after advanced weight reduction techniques have been applied to the car. There are three different packages for people to choose from, providing variety.
There are traction controls for off road and on road driving.
The handling and driving of the car have also undergone significant improvements.
There are controls on the steering wheel for audio and other options.
Due to the changes in design, the cargo space in the car has been significantly lessened for a SUV.
Compared to other rivals, there is very less interior room than other rival models.
The car is not really designed for speed, with a 2.0L 4 cylinder engine.
The loaded base model of the vehicle has a pretty hefty base price.
There is significant difference in the prices between the base model as well as the other packages.
