The 2012 Forte Koup Coupe offers the model in two trims, the front-wheel drive base EX trim and the SX trim. The EX has a 2.0 liter 156 horsepower, 144 lb torque four-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual transmission. Consumers also have the ability to get the six-speed automatic transmission instead of the manual. Furthermore, the EX has 16-inch wheels, remote keyless entry, and a height adjustable driver seat. Consumers can also opt for the more sporty SX trim, which has 17-inch wheels, a sportier suspension, enhanced breaks, and is ultimately made for performance. The SX has a more powerful 2.4 liter 173 horsepower, 168 lb torque four-cylinder engine that has a six-speed manual transmission and the option for a six-speed automatic transmission instead of the manual.
