Part 1: Introduction

Aside from the poor name selection, the 2012 Honda Odyssey SUV Van is nothing more than an innovation in terms of fuel efficiency and engine performance for a classification of a van. The 2012 Honda Odyssey SUV Van is powered with a 3.5 Li SOHC V6 engine with output power of 248 horsepower. The engine uses an advanced technology that is unique to the Japanese car manufacturer; Better Known as Variable Cylinder Management of VCM, this technology makes it possible for Honda Odyssey to have a rating of 27 mpg highway and 18 mpg city.

Rated number 2 out of 8 minivans in the market is no surprise to Honda, considering the Odyssey is packed with astute features to include a second row seat that can stretch to facilitate three car seats and a 16" rear entertainment centre that can be used to watch DVD's or play video games or both. The Toyota Sienna is the next best thing to the Odyssey and while it does have a lower base price, four cylinder engine and all wheel drive capabilities, it still is no match to the Odyssey's robust performance. For 2012, the Odyssey sees subtle changes, but still ranks no 1 in terms of resale, safety and reliability. Overall, if you are looking for a value family car that has the basic features, spacious compartment and exceptional safety features, the 2012 Honda Odyssey SUV Van is the perfect choice.
