The 2012 Taurus limited version gets you all of the above plus CD player with a 7 speaker upgraded stereo, 8 way power front seats, wood trimmed steering wheel, driver's seat memory functions and perforated leather upholstery. The SHO takes this subtle beast to a whole new level with a robust engine, rear spoiler, xenon headlights, keyless entry/ignition, sport tuned suspension, auto dimming drivers side mirror, unique styling highlights on the inside and out and faux suede inserts with leather upholstery. The top of the line SHO performance package equips the Taurus with a recalibrated steering, 20" wheels, stability control defeat, summer tires and an exclusive final drive ratio.

When it comes to reliability and durability, nothing beats the 2012 Ford Taurus Sedan. The car has been tested and proven to be safe on the road, and has high impact tests that prove it is an ideal car for a family. The 2012 comes standard with a long list of safety features to include stability and traction control, side curtain airbags, antilock disc brakes, integrated blind spot mirrors and front seat side impact airbags. The limited and SHO models include the about and a rear view camera and rear parking sensors. Optional safety features for the limited and SHO trim include a blind spot warning interface and a pre-collision warning system complete with cruise control. The 2012 Ford Taurus sedan took home 4 stars out of 5, with 5 awarded for side crash protection and 4 for front crash protection. There are a number of colors available for the 2012 Ford Taurus to include Ruby Red, Deep Impact Blue, Ginger Ale, Green Gem, Kodiak Brown, Oxford White, Sterling Gray, Tuxedo Black, White Platinum and Ingot Silver for the exterior. The interior can be pampered with Charcoal Black and Mayan Gray. Overall the Ford Taurus is a great vehicle but one can't deny the weight it houses within its extensive dimensions, which together hinder its handling abilities.
