The Ferrari 458 Spyder Convertible boasts sporty dimensions - just 178.2 inches long, 47.7 inches high, and 76.3 inches wide. It weighs 3,153 pounds, which is slightly heavier than the coupe counterpart, due to the weight of the convertible roof. In the front, 8.5 inch 235/35 ZR20 tires give solid grip, coupled with 10.5 inch 295/35 ZR20 tires in the rear. The Ferrari 458 Spyder Convertible has a unique exterior that covers a light aluminum frame. The flat nose has met with some criticism, as has the three-pipe exhaust, however most appreciate driving a car that has a one-of-a-kind look. With the top down, passengers can still chat comfortably at up to 124 miles per hour, thanks to a turbulence-reducing wind blocker. New baffles are intended to improve sound for driving with the top down.

There are a variety of cloth trims available, as well as brilliant exterior paint and finishes. Buyers can enjoy individual attention from a personal guide through all of the combinations. Alternatively, the exclusive Ferrari Styling Center has come up with three innovative designs, which include the Classica, the Scuderia, and the Inedita.

Ferrari has carried through with its individual touches on the inside, with nearly every control located right on the steering wheel. This can be disconcerting at first, as few drivers are accustomed to controlling turn signals with anything other than a traditional stalk. However, it is easy to get used to having every conceivable feature right within reach.
