The First Van is so functional and comfortable when you sit inside it, you feel like you are in a passenger car. Standard features include a power steering system and a CD stereo. It also features an air conditioning unit that is provided as an optional feature. The First Van is great for everyday use and is tough enough to handle pretty much any job. It will carry a pallet that is full-sized or two of the smaller pallets that are metric.

Safety features of the Berlingo First Van include an airbag on the driver's side and an airbag on the passenger's side. The air bag on the passenger's side is an added option though and must be asked to be included in the vehicle. There are six hooks in the back of the van that enable loads of various sizes to be secured to the van so they don't move around during transit. The First Van features a warning system that signals the drivers when seat belts are unfastened. It also has a central locking control so that the doors do not open up by accident once the van is moving. For drivers having to get in and out of the van at night in the dark, there is a button for easy illumination of the inside lights of the van.

The Berlingo First Van has two different types of engines to choose from which are the diesel engine and the gasoline engine. The Hdi diesel engine is a very economical choice which is important for most consumers with the cost of gas prices these days. The Hdi engine is not only designed for fuel efficiency but it is designed to be safe for the environment too. The diesel engine is designed to run on bio diesel with no additional modifications needed to the motor or any other part of the vehicle. The other choice is the gasoline engine. The Berlingo First Van is not meant to be driven like a race car but it does still give a nice ride with a tight turning circle and the steering itself gives a feeling of being in control. The Berlingo does only come with a manual transmission but that should not be an issue seeing that it is a commercial vehicle and most commercial vehicles do not usually have an automatic transmission. The manual transmissions are made for wear and tear and heavy workloads.

The inside of the van is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The instruments are all found on the digital console display, making them very easy to read and use. It is very roomy inside which makes for a very open and comfortable feeling. It has a lot of headroom as well which makes it much easier to load and unload compared to most other vehicles.

The Berlingo First Van would be a very good choice for anyone wanting an economical commercial vehicle. The price is just amazing for this van and the Berlingo First Van is well worth it for any business to consider as a transportation vehicle. Considering the freezing capabilities this vehicle would be an excellent choice for anyone thinking of starting any kind of bakery or food preparation business that would be delivering their product to customers. Most commercial vehicles would end up costing you a ton more than this one and they would not come with anywhere near as many capabilities as this one does.
