Part 1: Introduction

Another breakthrough in the world of luxury SUVs is the 2012 Cadillac Escalade ESV SUV which is considered to be the largest among the Escalades and has been an icon of superior quality vehicles. Now, the Escalade ESV comes up proud with a more complete package that will surely delight luxury enthusiasts. Since ESV is the largest of the Escalade alliance, it can accommodate maximum of 8 persons with superb comfort aside from its increased cargo capacity.

Compared to the conventional Escalade, Escalade ESV is 21 inches or 53.4 cm longer and has an accommodation of 137.4 cubic ft. or 3, 981 L behind the first row. The Escalade ESV is a great vehicle for families and big groups with its fabulous interior and spacious cabin including the 14 way power adjustable leather seats that are stitched in a unique French technique, which can be heated or cooled according to preference. Plus, the leather and wood trim of the steering wheel makes it excellent in its design. Escalade ESV also has memory settings for two drivers and is surrounded by a 10 speaker Bose sound system. Moving forward, 2012 Cadillac Escalade ESV is matched up with a very powerful 6.2 liter V8 engine that can generate 403 HP and 417 pound-feet of torque.

Its fuel economy is also pretty impressive with analysis from the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), MPG 14 in city driving and MPG of 18 on the highways. Moreover, there is a MPG 16 combined for models that are rear wheel drive. When it comes to transmission, it has 6 -speed automatic, which can be manually shifted plus the additional mode for towing. When appropriately equipped, Escalade ESV SUV has a towing capacity of 8,000 pounds accompanied by computerized Road Sensing Suspension which allows for a smooth driving experience.

Furthermore, it includes the Escalades trademark feature of Magnetic Ride Control Suspension that can react instantly on specific road conditions making the ride stress free. And the most interesting part is it is presented in AWD (All Wheel Drive) with a very accurate rack and pinion steering recalibrated for the ESV, which makes parking hassle free.
