While the BMW X5 SUV is impressive from the outside, the inside will sell anyone who is skeptical about making a purchase. Everything in the cabin is made with materials of only the highest quality and the space offered is indicative of all BMW models of vehicle. Standard on the X5 is two rows of seating, but an optional third row can be added. Buyers should know that this row is very cramped and is really only viable for children. Otherwise, most passengers will enjoy the interior and space that the X5 has to offer.

Unlike most crossovers, the BMW X5 SUV doesn't lose its appeal when out on the road. In fact, it gains the attention of drivers and passengers alike because it of its handling and power. There are areas in which the X5 lacks, but it follows the path that every buyer expects when they pay for a BMW vehicle. A tough engine gives it the boost it needs to take on many different driving tasks. The sounds from outside the vehicle are minimal and even the most difficult of roads is a breeze for the X5.

What lies underneath the hood of the BMW X5 SUV will depend on the options selected by the buyer. Regardless of the engine that is opted for, all of the crossovers come only in all wheel drive. There are a total of three different engines to choose from. One is a 3.0 liter 300 horsepower turbocharged inline-6 that comes standard with the xDrive35i trim. The xDrive50i boosts up to a 4.4 liter 400 horsepower V8 and the xDrive35d only offers a 3.0 liter 265 horsepower inline-6. The first two feature an eight speed automatic transmission while the xDrive35d only has a six speed automatic. When it comes to acceleration each trim has its own speeds. The fastest will hit sixty mph in less than five and a half seconds while the slowest takes over seven seconds to hit the mark.
