The new Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Roadster comes in two flavors: the Coupe and the Roadster. The coupe and the roadster are identical except for their roofs. In this regard, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Roadster has all the bells and whistles that are commonly associated with an Aston. You have the opulent upholstery, full-grain leather seats, Aston Martin audio system with a six cd autochanger. The audio system is embedded with built in jacks and USB and a 3.5mm stereo audio jack connectors for most types of multimedia players, including the Apple IPod. Other things that are noteworthy in this Aston are the six-piston brakes up front and four-piston brakes for the rear. Also noteworthy is that the brakes are made by Aston themselves and will not fade at all under any track condition.
The suspensions that are used in the Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Roadster are both independent double wishbone systems that use an antidive geometry, coil springs, monotube dampers and anti roll bars. This suspension design ensures that the car will not exhibit any stress, whether you are taking it for a spin on the track or just having fun on a country road. Along with the fade free brakes, the Vantage S also comes with ABS and EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution) as well as Dynamic Stability Control as standard. These electromechanical devices ensure that your Aston will stay on the road when you push to the limits. The wheels and tires that come standard with the Vantage S are 19 inch V spoke cast alloy rims with an 8.5 inch rim width for the front and 10.5 inch for the rear. They ride on Bridgestone Potenza RE050 tires (245mm front and 285mm rear), and you also have an option to upgrade to much stronger, forged aluminum rims in the same style and size and width as the standard ones.
